While using Documatic, Documatic automatically retains the following usage statistics about your software session using the external logging service Google Cloud™ Logging to collect the information. The data is not shared with third parties except for Google Cloud™ Logging. You can opt out of this personal data collection by emailing a request to documatic.help@gmail.com.
Timestamp, error message, and user's email address when Documatic experiences an error.
Timestamp and user's email address when Documatic is initialized or synced.
Timestamp, user's email address, and numeric statistics reflecting how heavily each major software feature of Documatic is being used by the user, when Documatic is submitted.
Total count of Documatic submissions.
Status of paid subscription to Documatic.
Documatic uses the third-party payment processor Stripe to process payments for Documatic. When you make a payment, certain personal information (such as your name, email address, billing address, and payment details) is shared with Stripe in order to complete the transaction.
Stripe operates independently and has its own privacy policy, which governs the handling of your personal information provided during payment. Please review Stripe's privacy policy at https://stripe.com/privacy.
Documatic does not store or have access to your full payment details, such as credit card numbers, as these are securely processed by Stripe.
The personal data described in the prior section of this privacy policy titled "Collection and sharing of your personal data" is used for:
Diagnosing and fixing problems with Documatic.
Providing a better software experience by focusing development effort on the most heavily used features in Documatic.
Providing a free trial experience that ends after a limited number of form submissions.
Enabling unlimited form submissions for paid subscribers.
Emailing notices to users of upcoming or currently effective changes to this privacy policy and/or Documatic's Terms of Service.
The personal data described in the prior section of this privacy policy titled "Collection and sharing of your personal data" will be stored for the length of time needed to fulfill the purposes outlined in this privacy policy unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. You may request for your data to be deleted by emailing a request to documatic.help@gmail.com.
Your data collected via Google Cloud™ Logging will be stored in Google Cloud™ Logging and so will be protected there as described in the Google Cloud™ Privacy Policy. Your data may also be exported or downloaded outside of Google Cloud™ Logging for the purposes outlined in this privacy policy, and in that case will be protected using encryption, and/or personally identifying information will be masked before the data is exported or downloaded.
Your personal information provided to Stripe during payment is retained and protected as described in Stripe's privacy policy at https://stripe.com/privacy. Documatic does not store or have access to your full payment details, such as credit card numbers, as these are securely processed by Stripe.
This privacy policy may be updated from time to time in order to reflect changes to privacy practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons. You are advised to review this privacy policy periodically for changes. Changes to this privacy policy are effective when they are posted on this page. Prior to any changes becoming effective, an email will be sent to users and/or a prominent notice will be displayed in Documatic.
